20/21 Summer School Application Procedure

Steps that students who are willing to take course from other universities in 2020-2021 summer school required to follow are listed below:

1. The “Summer school application (other universities)” petition must be filled and signed with wet-ink signature. Separate petitions are necessary in case that courses from different universities will be taken.

2. Wet signed petitions are (as scanned* PDF) required to be sent to each lecturer of the courses in ADÜ to be signed by turns, accompanied by official documents that show the credit and content of the course willing to be taken.

* In case that no scanner is available, mobile phone document scanner applications are suggested (eg. Microsoft Office Lens, CamScanner etc.).

3. After being signed by all lecturers of the courses, the petition and the documents showing credits and contents of the courses are expected to be sent to department e-mail address (fe@adu.edu.tr) for departmental approval.

i Course equivalency is determined according to regulation of Aydın Adnan Menderes University Course Equivalence and Adaptation Principles: Regardless of course time, local or ECTS credits of a taken course must be equal to at least 2/3 of the local or ECTS credits of the course that considered equivalent in our university. At the same time, based on the weekly course plan and the intended outcomes of the course, at least 2/3 of the content of the taken course must be the same content that considered equivalent.
