Our students Melis Tozan, Sude Kömür, Egehan Kaya, and Velat Baban achieved a significant success with their scientific studies conducted as part of their undergraduate theses.
At the 15th Food Engineering Student Congress, hosted by Namık Kemal University in Tekirdağ, our students presented their study titled "Evaluation of Fermented Black Carrot By-Product in Functional Vegetable Juice Formulation and Investigation of Storage Stability," supervised by Prof. Dr. Fatih Mehmet Yılmaz, as an oral presentation. They also showcased the functional beverage they developed in the laboratory to the participants.
The study, notable for its scientific quality and innovative approach, was awarded the Second Place Oral Presentation Award by the jury.
