Aydın Adnan Menderes University Special Education Department was founded in 2011. Undergraduate students have been enrolling the Special Education Program since 2019-2020 academic year. Special Education Program is a 4-year underguraduate program and it is carried out only in the daytime. The language of the program is Turkish.
The Special Education Department consists of 2 departments: the Department of Education for the Mentally Disabled and the Department of Education for the Gifted and Talented, Special Education teachers who graduate from the Department of Special Education are employed in public or private special education institutions that are affiliated to the Ministry of Education in Turkey.
In our department, there are 1 associate professor, 1 assistant professor, 4 research assistants.
