PHILOSOPHY DEPARTMENT  DOUBLE MAJOR DEGREE PROGRAM

 Application and Admission Requirements

To be enrolled in the Sociology and Psychology programs of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences-ADU and to meet the requirements of the current ADU regulations for the Philosophy Double Major Program. 

Students who start the Double Major Program from the Department of Sociology must take 83 ECTS of required courses and 13 ECTS of elective courses. They have to take 96 ECTS in total. The required courses taken by the student from sociology will be accepted as elective courses in philosophy.

 Students who start the Double Major Program from the Department of Psychology must take 90 ECTS of required courses and 23 ECTS of elective courses. In total, they have to take 113 ECTS. The required courses taken by the student from psychology will be accepted as elective courses in philosophy.

Students who start the Double Major Program from the Department of Psychological Counselling and Guidance must take 98 ECTS of required courses and 16 ECTS of elective courses. They must take 114 ECTS in total. The required courses taken by the student from the Psychological  Counselling and Guidance department will be accepted as elective courses in philosophy.
