PHILOSOPHY DEPARTMENT MINOR PROGRAM

 Application and Admission Requirements

 To be enrolled as a student in Sociology, Psychology, History, Archaeology, History of Art, Turkish Language and Literature, German Language and Literature, French Language and Literature, English Language and Literature programs of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry programs of the Faculty of Science; Journalism, Radio, Television and Cinema, Public Relations and Advertising programs of the Faculty of Communication.

Students from all departments of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Communication who meet the necessary requirements can apply for the Philosophy Minor Program.

If the student who wants to complete the Philosophy Minor Program is a student of Sociology and Psychology departments, he/she is obliged to take FEL 116 Basic Concepts of Philosophy course instead of the required FEL101 Introduction to Philosophy course.

All students who wish to complete the Philosophy Minor Program must take 3 courses from the ‘Compulsory Elective Course List‘’ and 4 courses from the ‘’Elective Courses‘’ list.
