Our department started undergraduate education in 2003-2004 academic year with 30 students who came with additional quota. Our department provides education in Turkish and the duration of education is 4 (8 semesters) years. During this education process, our students can benefit from exchange programs such as Erasmus, Mevlana and Farabi. Our department continues to work actively with at least one faculty member in the Departments of Ancient, Medieval, Modern, Recent, Republic of Turkey, General Turkish History and Ottoman Institutions and Civilizations. Students who graduate from the Department of History with a Bachelor's degree can continue their academic life with Master's and Doctorate degrees.
