Aydın Adnan Menderes University Civil Engineering Department (ADU-CE) has been an improving and a growing department for reshaping the modern Turkey by educating engineers and researchers of high quality and capability to the construction sector and to the academia. ADU origined civil engineers can have positions in the sector both at national and international level.
1. Fundamental Knowledge: Graduates of the program will be skilled in the fundamental principles of mathematics, science, and all sub-disciplines in Civil Engineering that are necessary for success in industry or graduate school.
2. Design Skills: Graduates of the program will be skilled in problem solving, design and interpretation of experiments, and operating within a team environment for the solution of design problems in their chosen field.
3. Professional Skills: Graduates of the program will have capability of operating effectively in a professional environment by demonstrating technical communication skills. They will have ability to procure work and interact effectively with construction professionals. Additionally, they will have an understanding of both ethical issues in Civil Engineering and importance of Civil Engineering work to society.
4. Lifelong Learning: Graduates of the program will be prepared to continue their professional development based on their awareness of professional society activities, professional licensure requirements, and opportunities for further education in graduate school.
