The undergraduate programme in Labour Economics and Industrial Relations was established in 2005 and admitted its first students in 2012. Education is offered both in regular and evening classes.
Our mission is to educate individuals who are capable of analysing labour markets, well-versed in social policy and labour relations, committed to ethical values, and aware of social responsibilities. We aim for our digitally competent graduates to contribute to policy-making in the public sector, private institutions, and civil society.
In addition to undergraduate education, our department offers two postgraduate programmes: one with thesis and one without thesis.
These programmes aim to support students’ academic competence, research skills, and professional specialisation.

Examination Information
Each course includes one midterm (40%) and one final examination (60%). All assessments are generally graded out of 100 points.
Vocational Training and Internships
There is no compulsory internship in our department. However, students can benefit from the Presidential Internship Programme and voluntary internship opportunities. Application requirements and necessary documents are determined by the Faculty Board, and detailed information is available on our faculty website.
