Double Major and Minor Degree Programs

Minor Program The minor program allows students to take a limited number of courses from a different department outside of their major, providing them with fundamental knowledge in that field. While gaining expertise in another area, students continue to deepen their knowledge in their primary field. In this program, students take only a specific set of courses in an additional field and receive a “Minor” certificate upon completion. Compared to a double major, the minor requires fewer courses and less time. By focusing on their main field, students gain additional skills in another discipline, enhancing their career prospects. The minor offers students an advantage in professional life, especially when knowledge in multiple fields is valuable. Required Courses for the Minor

Double Major Program The double major program allows students to pursue two undergraduate degrees simultaneously. Students take courses from both departments and demonstrate academic success in each. Through this program, they gain in-depth knowledge in two different areas and earn two separate bachelor's degrees. The double major provides students with a multidisciplinary edge in their careers. However, it requires more coursework and time, so students are expected to have strong time management and academic discipline.
