Exchange Programs

Erasmus+ The Erasmus+ Exchange Program is a program supported by the European Union that promotes the exchange of students and academic staff between higher education institutions. It provides students with opportunities to study abroad, do internships, or volunteer, while also enabling academic staff to teach, receive training, and engage in academic activities abroad. The program allows students and staff to participate in education or training activities in another European country for one or two semesters. Erasmus+ is not limited to Europe; it also promotes international mobility through cooperation with institutions in different regions and countries worldwide. Farabi The Farabi Exchange Program is designed to facilitate student and academic staff exchange among universities and institutes of higher technology that offer associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level education. Mevlana The Mevlana Exchange Program enables the exchange of students and academic staff between higher education institutions in Turkey and those abroad. Based on the regulation published in the Official Gazette on August 23, 2011, it facilitates exchanges with international institutions. Unlike other exchange programs, Mevlana makes no geographical restrictions and includes institutions from all over the world. Students can participate for at least one and at most two semesters; academic staff can teach abroad for at least one week and up to three months.
