Program Educational Objectives
1. Contributing to public policy development and implementation through roles such as expert, auditor, or inspector in public institutions, especially in financial planning, budgeting, taxation, and auditing.
2. Enhancing institutional efficiency, productivity, and accountability by working in areas like banking, insurance, finance, accounting, and independent auditing in the private sector.
3. Engaging in projects focused on public policy, sustainable development, and resource allocation as practitioners in multi-stakeholder institutions such as local governments, NGOs, and international organizations, while prioritizing public interest and societal needs.
4. Advancing the field of finance by producing original and high-quality scientific knowledge as researchers or academics in higher education, driven by lifelong learning and critical thinking skills.
5. Demonstrating entrepreneurship, leadership, and communication skills; maintaining continuous personal development; and actively participating in the business world through innovative thinking.
Program Learning Outcomes
1. Having knowledge in general Public Finance and the ability to analyze real-world developments using that knowledge.
2. Gaining insight into general Public Economics and applying this knowledge effectively when evaluating public policies.
3. Understanding finance-related legal issues and integrating this legal knowledge into administrative decision-making processes.
4. Adapting to the digital age with the ability to generate ideas and solutions using interdisciplinary approaches, supported by strong communication and social skills.
5. Aiming to specialize in subfields such as Public Economics, Fiscal Law, Public Finance Theory, or Budget, and Fiscal Planning.
6. Evaluating and interpreting tax legislation and fiscal policies at a level appropriate for public/private sector or freelance work.
7. Grasping the core conceptual and theoretical framework of finance as a discipline.
8. Describing and conceptualizing financial, legal, and economic issues holistically; conducting sound analysis and evaluation; and offering solution proposals.
9. Applying mathematical, statistical, and scientific knowledge to finance and effectively using relevant software tools.
10. Interpreting budget data and evaluating budgetary policies.
