HistoryNazilli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences is a higher education institution affiliated to Adnan Menderes University providing 4-year undergraduate education. It was founded in 1992 and started its education service in 1993 by taking students to the Economics and Business Administration departments in the building known as the “old government building” in the center of Nazilli District, which is now used as the “Nazilli Public Education Center”. In 2005, it temporarily moved to the Sümer Campus in Nazilli Sümer Neighborhood, and in the 2008-2009 academic year, it settled in the “Isabeyli Campus” in the neighboring Isabeyli Town of Nazilli District. Today, the faculty serves approximately 4000 students with 7 departments. The Department of International Trade and Finance within the Nazilli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences started education by taking its first students in the 2011-2012 academic year and gave its first graduates in the 2015-2016 academic year. A total of 917 graduates have graduated from 2015-2016 academic year.
MissionOur department has adopted the mission of educating individuals who have in-depth knowledge in the fields of International Trade, Finance and Logistics, who can quickly adapt to the changing dynamics of the global business world, make strategic and innovative decisions, adopt sustainability principles, adhere to ethical values, have an entrepreneurial spirit and are open to lifelong learning.VisionThe vision of the Department of International Trade and Finance is to be a pioneering department that educates individuals with strategic and analytical thinking, sustainability-oriented and leadership competencies who shape the global trade, finance and logistics sectors with its innovative education methods and academic programs offered at international standards.Our AimThe aim of the Department of International Trade and Finance is to contribute to the production of knowledge through innovative research and projects in the fields of global trade, finance and logistics, to support sectoral development and to provide solutions that create value for the national economy in the international arena with qualified graduates.Academic StaffThe Department of International Trade and Finance supports its students at the highest level and continues its scientific studies at undergraduate and graduate level with a total of 6 academic staff, including 1 Prof. Dr., 2 Assoc. Prof. Dr., 2 Assistant Prof. Dr., 2 Lecturer and 1 Research Assistant. With a total of 6 academic staff, it supports its students at the undergraduate and graduate level at the highest level and continues its scientific studies.Physical and Technical InfrastructureNazilli Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has 15 lecture halls, 8 classrooms, 2 computer laboratories connected to the Internet, 1 library, 1 canteen, 1 cafeteria, 1 student and staff cafeteria each, and 80 study rooms, 64 of which are allocated to academic staff, in its main building with a closed area of 26 thousand square meters in three blocks in İsabeyli, 20 minutes away from Nazilli. In addition, the dormitories for male and female students with a capacity of 500 students each next to the main building are affiliated with the Credit Dormitories Institution. The computer and internet infrastructure at the faculty is designed to provide 24-hour service to academic and administrative staff through desktop and laptop computers in each study room, and uninterrupted access to academic scientific publications. Students are provided with the same opportunity with the help of computer laboratories that are open during teaching periods. Wireless internet access in private cafes and businesses around the faculty is used extensively by students.
