Faculty of Science Missions (FSM) are given below.
FSM1 To educate scientists who can think scientifically and multidimensionally, are aware of contemporary requirements, productive, and socially responsible.
FSM2 To educate individuals with critical thinking and analytical skills who are responsible for contributing to cultural, scientific, and economic development.
FSM3 To educate internationally competent scientists who respect ethical values.
Missions of the Department of Mathematics (DMM) are given below.
DMM1 To educate individuals who research and question, think originally, produce universal knowledge, are self-confident, can solve real-life problems using analytical thinking, and adapt to changes of the era.
DMM2 To educate individuals who can follow recent developments in the field of mathematics.
DMM3 To educate individuals who comprehend mathematical thinking methods and can express mathematics both verbally and in writing.
DMM4 To educate individuals who can analyze problems in different scientific fields through mathematical modeling and contribute to their solutions.
DMM5 To educate mathematicians who can develop algorithms and programming skills required in computer technologies and construct computer-aided models for problems in different disciplines.
